There’s Reportedly Now Officially-Licensed Minecraft LEGO

As reported by The Brick Fan on Friday , August 15, officially-licensed Minecraft LEGO has been spotted online; two sets were sighted, both featuring the the default Minecraft character, Steve, and a few other things recognizable from the game.

According to The Brick Fan, the two sets that were found–named “The Cave” and “The Farm” respectively–are slated to release later on this year, with additional sets to also be released during the first wave, such as “The First Night”, “Creative Box”, “The Ender Dragon” and “The Mine”.

Previously Minecraft LEGO sets were built to a “micro” scale, according to Eurogamer , with each block/character scaled down to a smaller size. LEGO’s relaunch of the product will offer Minecraft blocks at full scale this time, including regular-sized mini-figurines.

Both sets also come included with mobs and animals: The Cave set comes with a zombie and a spider, and The Farm set comes with a skeleton, a cow and a sheep.

Strangely, both the sets are said to have been listed on Hamley’s official online retailer, but clicking in the respective links turns up nothing at the time of writing. The Cave and The Farm sets are said to have cost £20 and £25 respectively on the website.

We’ll bring you more news on Minecraft LEGO should further information reach our ears.
