Ever wanted to race on an F-Zero track as Link? Well now you can! Nintendo will be releasing brand new downloadable content for Mario Kart 8 which will provide fans with a whole bunch of crossover content.
First of all 3 new characters will be joining the race. Link and the Animal Crossing Villager are both confirmed entrants as well as new costume options for existing characters, like multi colored shy guys and Yoshis. 4 new vehicles will also be available, one of which being the iconic Blue Falcon of F-Zero fame. 8 new tracks will also be included, with an F-Zero style track, an Excite Bike themed track, an Animal Crossing Track, and Wario’s Woods all already revealed.
All this content will be split up into two packs. Each pack will cost $7.99 individually or $12.99 together. You can pre-order them when the game’s 2.0 update drops tonight.
