Sony has recently announced a brand new gaming headset for the PS3 and PS4. The headset will feature 7.1 surround sound and will run you 70 dollars. It also supports custom audio modes for different games, a retractable mic for chat, in line volume and mic controls, and breathable air cushions. The headset utilizes a 3.5mm jack, so it will not be exclusive for use with Sony consoles. Destiny will be the first game to include a custom audio mode for use with the headset.
It will launch this fall and will be available in two colors, Black and White. The White model will only be available in limited supply, and will come out with the release of the new Glacier White PS4 bundle. Sony is pushing the whole white, black, and blue color scheme for the PS4, with new White and Blue Dualshock 4 controllers as well.
