As reported by GameSpot on Monday, September 8, a ballsy Dark Souls fan has recently published a YouTube video of himself defeating two of the game’s bosses by using a Rock Band guitar controller. He also claims that he completed the game by using this method.
Benjamin “Bearzly” Gwin used his guitar controller from the original Rock Band game on the PC version of Dark Souls . The whole thing was made possible by using an emulator to remap the guitar’s buttons to be respective of the game’s controls on an Xbox 360 gamepad.
” My only movement actions are control vertical movement speed, move to right, and rotate camera left, ” Bearzly explained on Reddit . According to GameSpot, Bearzly completed Dark Souls in under 11 hours.
