Destiny has only been out for a short while and people are already figuring out bugs and exploits. The most game breaking exploit actually allows you to get infinite ammo… sort of. It doesn’t actually give you unlimited bullets, but it does allow you to continue firing without reloading. The trick seems to be able to be done with any weapon.
It’s not clear if this is a trick that you can do in game. Rather, many speculate that it’s a trick that you need to do by exporting your save file and editing it. Similar tricks were done with i>Borderlands and Borderlands 2 . Technically, this does mean that this could get you in trouble or even banned if you are caught doing it. Other people have speculated that this is just straight up cheating. In addition, it’s not clear whether or not this works in multiplayer.
