Pokémon Fan Arrested for Trespassing White House Premises

As reported by the Huffington Post on Thursday, September 11, the White House had its premises temporarily locked down recently due to a young man dressed in some Pokémon apparel jumping over its surrounding fence and running across its lawn.

The young man in question was wearing a Pikachu hat and was carrying an accompanying toy when he jumped the fence, and he was shortly thereafter apprehended by Secret Service. Some onlookers tweeted the incident as it occurred.

According to the Huffington Post, President Obama was at a 9/11 memorial event at the time, and was not at home as the trespass occurred. No further details regarding the incident have come to light as of yet.

In early-June, President Obama paid a visit to Poland, where–in a speech– he gave praise to CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 2 as an example of the country’s growing economy and influence.

We’ll bring you more news on this should further information reach our ear.
