Dying Light Has Been Pushed to January, 2015

As reported by Polygon on Monday, September 15, the open-world zombie survival game Dying Light has been pushed to release in late-January next year, which is earlier than the rethought date of February after it was announced that the game was being delayed.

Confirmed by the game’s developer via its official Twitter account , Dying Light will now be releasing on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.

According to Polygon, the developer, Techland, originally announced that the game would release in February next year, which was “ a few months later than originally planned.

When we started the development of Dying Light , we were committed to innovation, ” Techland said at the time. ” We wanted to give you a freedom of movement unprecedented in open world games. After many improvements and months of hard work, we have now come so close to realizing our initial vision we feel we cannot stop before it is ready.

According to Techland, the February release would have eliminated compromises and trade-offs when the game launched on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

We’ll bring you more news on Dying Light should further information reach our ears.
