Bungie recently applied a brand new hot-fix update to Destiny that fixes a couple things that didn’t quite pan out once the game went live. The most notable feature is that public events will now cause public events to happen nearly twice as often. If you haven’t experienced these events yet… well that’s why the fix was applied. They are basically events that occur as players traverse hubs worlds. The areas that these events occur in are online areas, which allow random players to join together in order to take on the challenge.
In addition to this new fix, Bungie has tightened up the netcode, enhanced network stability, and addressed game crashes on all platforms. “As we support the world of Destiny beyond the launch, much of what we do behind the scenes will be dedicated to ensuring the services that support the game are stable,” Bungie said.
