Streaming Beta Comes to the PlayStation 3!

Streaming Beta Comes to the PlayStation 3!

After a rocky start on the PS4 (with users complaining of the laughable rental pricing regarding some games), Sony is now bringing the service to the PS3 for a test run!

John Koller (who is Sony’s Vice President of Platforms Marketing) took to the PlayStation.Blog to tout the service’s arrival on their last-gen system. “PS3 users will now see PS Now titles integrated into PlayStation Store as part of the Open Beta. The library of PS Now games has grown to more than 150 titles, and will continue to grow as the service expands over time. I’m pleased to announce that God of War: Ascension, inFAMOUS, and the recently released Ultra Street Fighter IV are all coming soon to PS Now.” says Koller.

According to the VP, the launch is already a great success, as he states gamers “…have been pleased with the service’s performance. We want to thank everyone who has tried out PlayStation Now and encourage everyone to check it out. The service is still growing and evolving based on the feedback we’ve received from PS Now users.”

Of course, this could be just simple PR spin, and CheatCC will keep you posted on what the real opinions are coming out of the beta over the next few weeks.
