Disgaea 5 Confirmed for American Release

Disgaea 5 Confirmed for American Release

Nippon Ichi America recently announced that Disgaea 5 , the latest in their much beloved series of complex strategy RPGs, will be getting an American release. Nippon Ichi says that it will have more content than any other game in the series, 16 chapters of the main story all together, and that doesn’t even count all of the crazy additional content and sidequests the game will have to offer.

The game will come out on March 25 th , 2015 in Japan. Anyone who pre-orders the game will get a code for a Bunny Girl costume for Seraphene, one of the game’s main characters. There will also be a limited edition hitting store shelves which will come with figurines, a two disc soundtrack, and a hardcover art book.

The Tokyo Game Show demo for the game will be released on the PlayStation Network for Japan region accounts in October. It will be totally free, so anyone who has a Japanese account (which isn’t that hard to get here in America) will be able to test the game out prior to its release.

The game has not yet been dated for release here in the states yet, but Nippon Ichi has said that more information will be coming soon. Until then you can watch the latest official trailer for the game here.
