New Nintendo 3DS Will Launch In Australia First

New Nintendo 3DS Will Launch In Australia First

Nintendo’s plans for launching their “New 3DS” are a bit strange. The system is already out in Japan, and it features a more powerful processor and a mini c-stick on the left side. Its increased power is needed to play games like Xenoblade and other upcoming releases.

The only territory other than Japan that will see a release of the new Nintendo 3DS will be Australia. The new 3DS will come both in normal and XL models and will sport a variety of different cases. The New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL have recommended retail prices of A$219.95 and A$249.95. Neither will include an AC adapter, though they are both compatible with AC adapters from previous DS and 3DS models.

Nintendo has said that they do not plan to release these “new 3DSes” this year in Europe or America. It is unlikely that they won’t make it here, but we will likely have to wait until next year.
