Nintendo has recently unveiled a brand new bundle for the upcoming Wii U version of the new Smash Bros. The bundle is geared specifically toward players who want to utilize the popular Gamecube controller. It will include the game, a Wii U Gamecube Controller adapter, and one special, limited edition, Smash Bros. Gamecube Controller, complete with the Smash Bros. logo in the middle.
Unfortunately, an official release date has not been given for the bundle or the game itself, but we do have a price. The Gamecube Controller bundle will retail for $99 dollars, which isn’t that bad for a game, controller, and converter, especially considering how much mint condition Gamecube controllers are going for on eBay right now. If you don’t want to pick up the bundle, the controller adapter itself will run you $20. Combined with the cost of the game, this means you are essentially getting a $20 Gamecube Controller, which is a steal.
