The team creating Mighty No. 9 has recently asked their donators for money again… ad it’s not going over well. Essentially, they started a brand new fundraising campaign for slacker backers only. Their goal was to raise $100,000 in funds in order to insert voice acting into the game. The fund raiser would allow people to back the game the same way they did on the official kickstarter, with all the same reward tiers. However, all the money will be put toward the voice acting fund.
Currently over 100,000 dollars has been raised, allowing them to put voices in one language in the game. Right now they are asking fans to choose between Japanese or English voice acting.
Several donators have posted angry comments to the Kickstarter page, wondering why the team has to build more funds yet again when voice-acting was assumed to be part of the original donation total.
