As reported by PlayStation.Blog on Tuesday, October 7, LittleBigPlanet community coordinator Steven Isbell has announced that the sequel to the LittleBigPlanet series, LittleBigPlanet 3 , will be fully voice acted, along with revealing who’ll be voice actor for one of the game’s villains.
Joining Stephen Fry’s voice of the Narrator will be none other than his long-time comedic partner Hugh Laurie, who’ll be voice acting the mischievous Newton.
“ We have naturally always been big fans of Stephen Fry, ” Isbell wrote, “ so when it came to deciding upon a voice to act as his dastardly counterpart, we couldn’t help but think that bringing Hugh Laurie on as the voice of Newton would be just the perfect double act for LittleBigPlanet 3 . We couldn’t be happier to have him on-board! ”
Other voices will be joining in on the LittleBigPlanet fun, but not all of them were revealed. Some of the voices you’ll get to experience in LittleBigPlanet 3 have been listed below.

Simon Greenall ( Alan Partridge, Wimbledon )
Nolan North ( UNCHARTED series, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor )
Tara Strong ( My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic , The Fairly OddParents )
Isbell also confirmed that voices from previous LittleBigPlanet games, but nothing specific was mentioned. “ Mum’s the word for now though, ” is all Isbell hinted.
LittleBigPlanet 3 , has been been slated to release on Tuesday, November 18 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. We’ll bring you more information on the game should further information reach our ears.
