Minecraft on PS Vita Headed to Europe Next Week

While the digital versions of Minecraft for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 have recently become available, word has come around that the game will soon be launching on Sony’s handheld, the PlayStation Vita. In fact, you can anticipate Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition to be launched in Europe by the middle of next week!

This was announced via 4J Studio’s official Twitter account on Thursday, October 9, where it was proclaimed that the game had passed its final test for the PlayStation Vita and would soon be releasing in Europe thereafter.

Minecraft releasing on the PlayStation Vita was announced during the time of last year’s Gamescom via Markus “Notch” Persson’s own official Twitter (albeit rather minimalistically ). It was also announced during the event itself that the game would be a PlayStation 4 launch title as well.

We’ll bring you more news on Minecraft should further information reach our ears. In the meantime, you may be happy to know that there’s now Doctor Who skin content for the Xbox 360 version of the game, with an Xbox One counterpart soon on its way.
