Modder Creates Portable PS4 Laptop

Modder Creates Portable PS4 Laptop

Ed Zarick, the same man that brought you the Xbook, has started a brand new project. He has created the brand new PlayBook 4, a PlayStation 4 Laptop.

Basically, Zarick transplants the guts of a PS4 into a brand new laser cut plastic case. Then, on top, he puts a 1080P LED LCD display. This display lifts up and down and can be carried as easily as you can carry your console itself. It also has its own speakers so it’s a totally contained portable console. You can even get one with an HDMI out to use it like a normal console.

And when we say normal console, we mean it. It has the same drive, same USB ports, same software, and same internals. There’s absolutely nothing that would get you banned from online services and all normal PS4 peripherals will work on it.

One note, however, while it seems to act like a laptop, it does not have a battery power supply. You do still need to hook it up to the wall to get it to work. This is just meant to make your console as portable as possible. Just plug it in and you are good to go. No need for a TV.
