Fox has delayed the release of the upcoming Hitman movie, Agent 47 a couple months. Originally slated for theatrical release on February 28 th , 2015, the movie will now be hitting the big screen on August 28 th of the same year.
Supposedly the reason for the delay has to do with the amount of special effects that have been crammed into the movie. The movie has apparently been growing beyond its original scope since filming started. The movie will use both computer generated and conventional effects.
Agent 47 sees the titular Hitman team up with a mysterious woman in order to help her “find her father and uncover the mysteries of her ancestry.” Rupert Friend will be starring in the lead role, while Zachary Quinto will play the as of yet unknown antagonist. The movie will be directed by Aleksander Bach.
