Jason Moma Breaks Silence on Aquaman

Jason Moma Breaks Silence on Aquaman

After weeks of speciation and fan-theories churning out of the old interweb rumor-mill, actor Jason Moma is finally opening up about his role in a new Aquaman film.

Moma, who rose to stardom after appearing in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones , reveals he will in fact play everyone’s favorite (or in some circles….least favorite) aquatic hero. Stating he was asked to keep silent after the audition, Moma says he wanted to “…respect Warner Bros. and everyone’s wishes. I’m really, really happy that I don’t have to be quiet anymore, because that’s really hard for me.”

While many expect to see Aquaman appear in the upcoming Batman v. Superman film, a stand-alone project is definitely a go for the King of Atlantis. However, Moma dropped a bit of a bombshell during a recent panel, touting that a Justice League movie will likely head into production first. “…I know the Justice League will come first. That’s really what we’re going to focus on…It will probably be where he came from. It will probably be his whole origin story I would think… So I know we’re going to do Justice League first.” Says Moma.

We’ll bring you more once we can confirm details regarding the character’s future appearances.
