Microsoft Removing Free Version of Xbox Music

Microsoft Removing Free Version of Xbox Music

Want to listen to music on your Xbox One? Time to fork over some cash. The free version of Xbox Music, Microsoft’s music streaming service, will be removed from the platform in a couple of weeks. The free version was supported by ads, but on December 1 st , the only way to access Xbox Music will be to sign up for a full paid subscription at a rate of ten dollars a month. Microsoft has not yet provided a reason for the removal of the free version of this app, though they did say “We are focusing Xbox Music to deliver the ultimate music purchase and subscription service experience for our customers,”

Users will still be able to get a free 30 day trial of the service before Microsoft begins asking them to fork over cash.
