Telltale’s Game of Thrones to Start Before Year’s End

Several months ago, back in in mid-December last here, The Walking Dead developer Telltale Games announced that it would be working on an episodic series set within the Game of Thrones universe.

Though news of the game has been predominantly silent since its announcement, aside from Destiny writer Joshua Rubin joining Telltale to help in the series’ development and the poster teaser that was released a few weeks back, the renowned developer has finally come out to confirm when to expect the first episode of its Game of Thrones adaptation.

Publically declared via Twitter, Telltale Games’ community manager, Laura Perusco, revealed last week that the studio’s first Game of Thrones episode would premier later on this year, though no specific date beyond that was detailed.

@RatedR2012 No specific release date announced yet, but I can confirm that the season IS premiering later this year. 🙂
