In news that will likely make some comic fans VERY happy, it would appear the long-awaited Black Panther film will in fact hit theaters within the next several years!
During a recent media event (which both Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans were on hand for), Marvel unveiled their revised schedule that leads all the way into 2019. Chief among the announcements was confirmation of a Black Panther movie (whom will be played by Chadwick Boseman), to be released by 2017. Marvel also officially stated that Avengers 3 is so epic, it will be separated into two parts (as this journalist had always suspected).
Here is a complete rundown of the entire film slate, which will flesh out Marvel’s Phase 3 and beyond:
