PS4 Finally Gets YouTube App

PS4 Finally Gets YouTube App

In an update that many PS4 users have been waiting for since the console came out, the PS4 now has it’s very own YouTube app. Yes, it took them nearly a year to include functionality that the PS3 already has. This is very important considering Sony sold the PS4, not only as a gaming machine, but as a multimedia streaming box. The app was introduced through the PS4’s new 2.0 update, which integrates a lot of other new features as well.

Not only that, but it also allows you to share the clips that you record of your PS4 gameplay directly to YouTube! You can upload your clips in 1080p as easy as you can when sharing them to Facebook. Simply press the share button, edit it, give it a title and a description and up it goes to YouTube.

The PS4 is the last next-generation console to get YouTube functionality. The Wii U and Xbox One already have their own YouTube apps.
