For those of you waiting to see the new Far Cry game finally hit the digital and retailer shelves, it may interest you to know that Far Cry 4’s in-game map has appeared online, believed to be supposedly leaked.
Featured above, the maps shows a color-coded top-down view of Kyrat, the location in which Far Cry 4 is set in. Separated into six different sections, each represented by color, the map shows what’s believed to be the main area that traversable in-game, although its speculated that the surrounding blackness might either imply that more locations can be explored or non-traversable terrain, such as exceptionally high mountain ridges or water.
Also marked on the map is the locations of different animals, which can be hunted for materials to later be used in crafting new items and equipment. In addition to animals, the map also displays where important locations and outposts can be found.
One user on NeoGAF has claimed that you can get the in-game map via the Far Cry 4 interactive challenges featured on the game’s official website.
FarCry 4 is slated to release on Tuesday, November 18 in North America and Europe for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. We’ll bring you more news on FarCry 4 should further information reach our ears.
