Assassin’s Creed Unity Littered With Bugs

Assassin’s Creed Unity Littered With Bugs

Assassin’s Creed Unity launched on Tuesday and has had more than its fair share of problems. The game is littered with bugs, mostly graphical ones, and some are downright disturbing. They cause faces to disappear, hair to go wild, animations to bug out, characters to float, and more. Some even effect the gameplay as characters get caught in walls, fall through floors, and even completely freeze in their tracks. In fact, some of these glitches make the game unplayable causing system wide freezes during connections or while navigating the menu.

The launch of Assassin’s Creed Unity was so fraught with bugs that it actually effected Ubisoft’s share worth! It fell 8.3 percent on Wednesday, the day after Unity’s launch.

Oddly enough, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue isn’t actually facing the same sort of bugs. It plays pretty decent and in my experience hasn’t really had any sort of problems. But Unity was their big advertised release and thus is making the bigger splash.

Ubisoft has said that it is going to release a patch sometime soon to fix these problems. However, it hasn’t yet given us a date for the release of said patch. We will keep you updated on Ubisoft’s progress as more information becomes available.
