New Gameplay Surfaces for Battlefield: Hardline

New Gameplay Surfaces for Battlefield: Hardline

New gameplay for Visceral Games’ Battlefield: Hardline has risen from the depths, showing off cutscenes relating to a certain mission and some in-game shooting and, well, gameplay.

As implied during the section of the video with gameplay, you’re seemingly able to switch out and / or customize your loadout before entering a given mission properly. It also seems like you could have the freedom to go and proceed with said mission from the get-go should you desire.

In keeping with the game’s theme, the gameplay also shows off some detective work, where you have to investigate evidence within a given room by taking pictures, track potential assailants with a scanner, figure out points of points of entry, as well as find your way in and of a gun fight–complete with night-vision goggles!

Battlefield Hardline was delayed from its original October release date until “ early 2015 , ” which was later revealed to be Tuesday, March 17 in North America, with Europe’s release slated for Friday, March 19. The reasoning behind Battlefield Hardline’s delay was because of Visceral Games’ determination to improve the title due to having received a lot of player feedback from the game’s Beta.

You can watch the new Battlefield: Hardline gameplay footage via the embedded video below, The game itself is slated to release on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. We’ll bring you more news on Battlefield: Hardline should further information reach our ears.
