The next Battlefield title to be added to the franchise, that isn’t Battlefield: Hardline , won’t be released until sometime in 2016, and it will apparently return to its military-focused roots. Not only that, but EA’s CFO, Blake Jorgenson, has commented that the new Battlefield game is looking to be a “ fun, new Battlefield . ”
During this year’s UBS Global Technology Conference, Jorgensen added, “ that will be a return to a Battlefield military-style game; more to come on that, ” according to GameSpot.
EA’s CEO, Andrew Wilson, also explained last month that the publisher wants to give players more time to enjoy Battlefield 4 and Battlefield: Hardline before a new Battlefield rolls out.
” We want to give Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline players more time to enjoy these games and immerse themselves in a game, the live service, and the community ,” Wilson said .
The upcoming addition to the Battlefield franchise, Battlefield: Hardline , is slated to be released on Tuesday, March 17 in North America, with Europe’s release slated for Friday, March 19. We’ll bring you more Battlefield news should further information.
