Word has been going around that bigwig publisher Capcom is going to announce an unexpected title for the PlayStation 4 at some point in the future.
During the PlayStation Awards livestream, which was hosted by Famitsu and Dengeki PlayStation, the publisher’s producer, Hiroyushi Kobayashi, teased that Capcom would announce something within the next couple of weeks that’ll apparently be something players probably won’t be expecting.
What’s more is that Kobayashi also mentioned that various subsequent announcements will follow in the future, starting in January. He also added that the publisher is “ working hard ” to release this game on the PlayStation 4.
While it was stated that Capcom is looking to push this new game on Sony’s current-gen console, no word on platform exclusivity was mentioned.
It’s theorized that this game may be revealed at this year’s upcoming Jump Festa, which will be held in Tokyo in a couple of weeks on Saturday, December 20 through to Sunday, December 21.
