Another PayPal Slip-up Teases Steam Winter Sale Next Week

Another PayPal Slip-up Teases Steam Winter Sale Next Week

Like how PayPal previously let slip on a Steam Autumn sale for Wednesday, November 26 by accident, the Japanese branch of the company has also teased an upcoming Winter sale for the PC game distribution client.

An image hinting the sale was emailed to a Reddit user, which was then subsiquently posted up on Reddit thereafter. According to numerical characters featured in the Japanese text, Steam’s Winter sale is slated to kick off on Thursday, December 18, when titles could apparently be up to 70 percent off.

The legitimacy of PayPal’s email remained up in the air until the original poster of the aforementioned Reddit post forwarded the email in question to PC Gamer, where it was then confirmed to be authentic.

So, with that in mind, you can anticipate a genuine Winter sale to occur on Steam next week. We’ll bring you more news on Steam should further information reach our ears.
