Collector’s Edition for Hotline Miami Sequel Includes Soundtrack on Three Vinyl Discs

While the sequel Hotline Miami isn’t scheduled to release until early on next year, it hasn’t stopped Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number’s developer, Dennaton Games, from unveiling a rather eye-catching pre-order incentive that will reward early adopters with the game’s original soundtrack split up between three vinyls.

A blast from the past, those who pre-order the Collector’s Edition of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will received a colorful set of three 180-gram vinyls containing 28 tracks from the game itself. Accompanying this set is a collectible phone card that houses a download code for a copy of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number as well as its full digital soundtrack. The code can be redeemed via Steam.

Back in my day we didn’t have fancy IBM-compatible computers or PlayStations – we played our video games on the family record player and liked it . You couldn’t see a damn thing but that’s what made it challenging, ” states Fork Parker, Devolver Digital’s CFO.

For $60, the casing for the three vinyls features original artwork by Niklas Akerblad, the Swedish artist who’s responsible for Hotline Miami’s vibrant artwork. Three vinyls include tracks from artists such as M|O|O|N, El Huervo and Perturbator, along with new artists such as Megadrive, Mitch Murder and Magic Sword.

You can pre-order the Collector’s Edition of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number by heading on over to iam8bit , and it’s currently slated to release alongside the launch of the game itself.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is scheduled to hit the shelves in early 2015 for PC (Windows, Mac and Linux), PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

We’ll bring you more news on the game should further information reach our ears.
