Nearly 2,000 LEGO Bricks Could Recreate Wind Waker’s Map

By using the free LEGO designing software “LEGO Digital Designer”, someone has recreated the map featured in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker in under 2,000 LEGO pieces–1,885 LEGO pieces, to be exact. Instructions on how to build your own Wind Waker LEGO map were posted up by Reddit user BrucilSprout, who posted a link to a shared Dropbox file. However, in order to view the instructions, you’ll first need LEGO Digital Designer installed on your computer.

Needless to say, the recreation isn’t of any official capacity, as there isn’t any boxed set that you can simply pick up and start building away. What was shown was only a rendered image of the completed project.

In order to make a decent shot out of it, you’ll need to load up the file in the required software, take a note of  building guide and make an inventory of what exactly you’ll need. After that, you’ll then to go out and buy LEGO box sets that contain the parts you’re looking for–finding the right pieces in the right colors also comes with the challenge.

If you fancy having a go at it with what LEGO you may still have, you can download LEGO Digital Designer via the official LEGO website for free. The shared Dropbox file can also be found here .
