Official Xbox Magazine announced on Wednesday, Sunday 28 that it (alongside other publications such as Official PlayStation Magazine and EDGE) will be partnering up with GamersRader by the end of next month. Under the new umbrella name of GamesRadar+ , the partnership will centralize content with other labels like Total Film and SFX.
The Official Xbox Magazine website itself will be updated in light of this merge, specifically in terms of its staff approaches gaming news, reviews and features. Along with having its dedicated URL changed, the website’s appearance will also altered–it will even be optimized for viewing on smartphones and tablets, too. The print publication, on the other hand, is promised to remain “completely unchanged,” as will its various social accounts remain unchanged as well.
GamesRadar+ will produce news, reviews and features on movies, TV shows, and comics and books in addition to gaming content–all of which will be available to read in one central place. Further information on the new umbrella partnership is promised to be shared in the coming weeks.
