Want a Free PlayStation TV? Buy a PS4!

Want a Free PlayStation TV? Buy a PS4!

If you are in the market for a PS4, the buying is pretty good right now. This week at Gamestop, a new promotion has started that will allow you to pick up both a PS4 and a PlayStation TV at once. The new bundle costs $450 and comes with a PS4 with all the basics, a copy of The Last of Us: Remastered , a 12 month subscription to PlayStation Plus, and a PlayStation TV.

For those of you who don’t know what a PlayStation TV is, it’s a tiny little box that acts, essentially, as a PS Vita emulator. It can play PS Vita, PS One, and PSP games that have been bought digitally through the PlayStation Network. It can also stream PS4 games from a PS4 console to a separate television screen. It also has access to all of Sony’s integrated streaming services that the Vita would have access to, including Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, Crunchyroll, and more. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the PlayStation TV is able to stream games through Sony’s PlayStation Now service, making it the ultimate backward-compatible device.

The PlayStation TV normally retails for eighty dollars, so this is quite the value that you are getting in a bundle. A similar bundle will be sold at Best Buy next week.
