Evolve Patch 1.1 Releases

Evolve Patch 1.1 Releases

The first big patch for Evolve has come out, and it mostly fixes bugs. Many users on the Xbox One have been reporting that their progress hasn’t been saving correctly, and this patch should fix that. In addition, the Xbox One version has been having some trouble with lighting effects, and the patch should fix that as well. Finally, there was a pretty cool bug where more than one of a certain class could spawn, giving you a team of five hunters. Though cool, this unbalanced the game quite a bit and was promptly taken out.

Outside of bug fixing, the new patch implements new changes for matchmaking. Many players have been complaining that they are being matched with players well above their level, which means they have access to fewer perks and characters that their teammates and opponents have. The new matchmaking system should keep people at similar levels.

Finally, they also made changes to the progression system. Several players have been complaining that the challenges to unlock new levels of equipment are too hard, or at least too hard in relation to other characters. Hopefully these balance changes will even that up.
