Bloodborne Will Have a New Game Plus Mode

Bloodborne Will Have a New Game Plus Mode

Earlier today, Bloodborne Director Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed in an interview with MCV that the upcoming PS4 exclusive will have a New Game Plus mode. In this mode, players will be able to carry over all of their gear from the first playthrough and start a new game with harder enemies. He added that the team is currently having a hard time beating this mode because of the increased difficulty level throughout.

In related Bloodborne news, it has also been confirmed by several outlets that the game is roughly over 40 hours long. This is a major difference from the length of The Order: 1886 , another PS4 exclusive whose brevity continues to be criticized regularly. Bloodborne , on the other hand, is already looking like a game that is destined for success due largely in part to it being the spiritual successor of Demon Souls .

Having a New Game Plus mode in a title of this size will definitely add a lot of value to the product as a whole. By making this move, From Software is showing their commitment to giving fans a complete experience and I personally can’t wait to get my hands on this game.

Bloodborne launches on March 24 th in the US and March 25 th in Europe.
