Earlier today, Electronic Arts confirmed in a Star Wars: Battlefront blog post that the game is scheduled to make its long awaited debut at Star Wars Celebration next month in Anaheim, California. This 3-day show starts on April 16 and is known worldwide as the premier event for everything Star Wars related. For more info on the event, please feel free to visit www.starwarscelebration.com .
It is currently unclear what EA is planning to show at this event. A teaser trailer and/or gameplay footage seems likely given that the game is scheduled to come out later this year. Luckily, we don’t have to wait too much longer now to find out exactly what this reveal is.
DICE is currently planning to launch Star Wars: Battlefront on the PS4, PC, and Xbox One. If the game manages to make the projected holiday 2015 timeline it’s currently set at, then it will most likely be right around the release of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens . Hopefully this does happen as both products can certainly benefit from each other.
