Developed by Remedy, the creator of Max Payne , this game was a sadly-overlooked love letter to Stephen King and Twin Peaks. Now it seems new players – specifically Xbox One owners who preorder Remedy’s latest, Quantum Break – may get the chance to dip their toes into the dark world of Alan Wake .
Reports have recently surfaced that a Microsoft survey asked players if they’d be interested in an HD update to Alan Wake as a free incentive for pre-ordering Quantum Break . While nothing is solid, announced, or guaranteed at this point, the fact that Microsoft is asking for feedback indicates that things may be moving in a positive direction. It would be great for Alan to get another shot as his time in the spotlight.
