Payday 2 Will Be Supported Until 2017

Last night, Overkill Software confirmed via Steam that they are currently planning to support Payday 2 until 2017. They also revealed that they have signed a new deal with 505 Games and will be making of ton of new free and paid content for the game throughout this time.

Payday 2 originally launched way back in August 2013. An updated version of the game with all of the previously released content is expected to debut on both the PS4 and Xbox One this June.

Now that this deal has been put in place, Payday 2 ’s shelf life will definitely get stronger. If you still haven’t had a chance to experience what this tactical first-person shooter has to offer, then I’d highly suggest you do so before it’s too late.

Are any of you glad to hear that Payday 2 will be supported for the next two years? Please feel free to let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below.
