Kojima Station Suspended Indefinitely

Kojima Station Suspended Indefinitely

We bring you yet more fallout from Hideo Kojima’s falling out with Konami. The Kojima Station, Kojima’s stream where he and his team would talk about their projects and upcoming Konami plans, has been suspended indefinitely. The next episode, which was supposed to air yesterday, never did, and a series of tweets by Konami of Japan apologized for the short notice suspension of the show. While the show has not been completely canceled, Kojima and Konami both haven’t been able to give a date for the next stream.

That being said, Kojima has recently released a statement reaffirming his continued involvement with Metal Gear Solid V .

“I want to reassure fans that I am 100 percent involved and will continue working on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain ,” he said.. “I’m determined to make it the greatest game I’ve directed to date. Don’t miss it!”

It looks like Konami and Kojima are just awkward bedfellows for the time being.
