Earlier today, VideoGamer reported on a story confirming that the brand new Suspend/Resume feature on the PS4 only works with Bloodborne when in offline mode. According to their post, players are redirected to the game’s menu whenever they attempt to continue after suspending.
Bloodborne launched earlier this week and is already being heralded as one of the best PS4 exclusives currently on the market. Additionally, the latest firmware update went live today and offers a new host of features that greatly change how you use the console as a whole.
Considering the timing of both the game and this update, there seems like an obvious lack of communication between the developers on both sides. The Suspend/Resume feature pretty much works correctly for every game except this one. Hopefully, this issue gets resolved soon as it would look bad on Sony’s part if it weren’t.
