Last night, Microsoft aired two brand new live-action trailers for Halo 5: Guardians and revealed that the game launches worldwide on October 27. Both videos provide an alternate take on a conflict between Master Chief and Spartan Locke, but offer very little detail on what we can expect. 343 Industries Head Bonnie Ross did say that the game will be making its world premiere debut during E3 2015 this June.
Microsoft launched a #HuntTheTruth campaign last week to start teasing bits and pieces of the story. All of these details in the form of archived audio files, email correspondences, and trailers can be found at huntthetruth.tumblr.com .
Now that we have an official release date for Master Chief’s next outing, the next question is when will Microsoft release a few of the other games they have planned for the fall of 2015? Forza Motorsport 6 and Rise of The Tomb Raider are on this list along with whatever else Microsoft is planning to announce during E3. Luckily, we don’t have to wait too much longer to find out what their plans are.
