Late last week, Black Tusk Studios Developer Jack Felling released a photo over Twitter taken directly from the final day of a motion capture shoot for the next Gears of War game. The image features an unknown actor wearing a mocap suit and holding a huge gun in his hands.
Microsoft originally acquired the rights to the franchise back in January and handed over all of the development work to Black Tusk Studios. Ever since then, we haven’t heard any other details on the game aside from the fact that it may be slightly darker than the most recent games in the series.
With E3 2015 right around the corner, I’d be surprised if we don’t get some more news on this game by then. While I fully don’t expect it to release this year, I do at the very least think they have made some progress and we all deserve to see how the game is coming along.
