Star Wars: Battlefront Coming To Xbox One First

Star Wars: Battlefront Coming To Xbox One First

Last night, Aaron Greenberg confirmed over Twitter that DICE’s Star Wars: Battlefront game is coming to Xbox One first through EA Access. The premium subscription service allows players to gain early access to upcoming titles by paying either $4.99 per month or $29.99 for a year. Battlefield Hardline was the last major EA game to make use of this service by allowing subscribers to play up to ten hours of the game six days ahead of its release.

Star Wars: Battlefront is expected to launch worldwide this fall on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. While EA hasn’t yet confirmed a solid release date for the game, we are sure to hear more about that either before or during E3 2015.

This news is hardly surprising given all of the other EA games that we have seen appear on the service over the last couple of months. Given how important Star Wars is to most fans, it will be interesting to see if this service helps sell more copies of the game on the Xbox One. Luckily, we won’t have to wait too much longer to find out now.

Are any of you looking forward to playing Star Wars: Battlefront ? Please feel free to let us know how you think the game will turn out in the comments section below.
