Earlier this week, Ubisoft Montreal Creative Director Patrick Plourde revealed over Twitter that several new projects set within The Child of Light universe are currently being worked on. While Plourde didn’t confirm a sequel to the original game, he did at the very least make it clear that we will hear more about these new projects very soon.
Child of Light is a beautifully designed platforming role-playing game that debuted across multiple consoles last year. The game is now available for free to Xbox One Gold subscribers as part of April’s Games with Gold offerings.
Child of Light is a title that continues to receive praise from people today. Perhaps Ubisoft is planning to showcase the other projects in this universe during its annual E3 press conference in June. Either way, we are sure to hear more about these ventures sooner rather than later.
