Yesterday, Gematsu reported on a story in which Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio and From Software confirmed that Bloodborne has sold over one million copies worldwide as of April 5. This impressive sales number includes both digital and physical copies of the game sold at various retailers across the globe.
Bloodborne is the popular PS4 exclusive that debuted on the console last month. The game is referred to as the spiritual successor to both Demon Souls and Dark Souls .
I’ve played the game and I can confirm that it truly is both challenging and rewarding for those who decide to put time into it. It’s great to hear it is selling well as it leaves the door wide open for From to explore more new IPs and sequels in the future.
