Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Has Sold Over One Million Copies

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Has Sold Over One Million Copies

Earlier this week, Capcom sent out a press release confirming that Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate has sold over one million copies in both Europe and North America since launch. These sales figures are based on both retail and digital copies of the game. Capcom has also stated that they are planning to release a free Nintendo 3DS theme in May to thank the fans for continuing to support the franchise.

Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate is an enhanced version of Monster Hunter 4 that launched alongside Nintendo’s new 3DS models back in February. To date, the series has sold more than 32 million units worldwide.

I’m glad to hear that the game sold well and that Capcom is willing to do something special for the fans. I’m also certain that the Monster Hunter branded 3DS contributed to these sales and definitely helped newcomers get into the franchise.

Have any of you had a chance to play Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate yet? If so, please feel free to let us know what you thought about the game in the comments section below.
