Yesterday, Eurogamer reported on a story in which Blizzard Entertainment confirmed that its upcoming MOBA game Heroes of the Storm is expected to launch worldwide on June 2. The game is currently in closed beta and will be opening up to a selected group of players starting on May 19.
Heroes of the Storm revolves around online 5-versus-5 matches across various game modes. Like many other games in the genre, it is a free-to-play title with microtransactions.
Heroes of the Storm has been in closed beta since mid January. Now that the full version has a confirmed release date, MOBA fans can have something to look forward to playing this summer.
