Yesterday, Bungie Community Manager DeeJ confirmed on the Bungie.net website that Destiny’s Iron Banner will be returning on April 28. The event is scheduled to go live at 10am PST and will only be accessible through the game’s main interface.
DeeJ pointed out that the team wanted to test the functionality of this mode with the recently released 1.12 patch update. After taking an additional week to do so, the event is back in full force now and makes use of all the new changes brought on by the update.
I personally haven’t touched Destiny for months now and more then likely won’t be jumping back into in when The House of Wolves expansion pack drops. I am, however, glad that the Iron Banner is back as I know fans thoroughly get a kick out of playing through it.
