Resident Evil HD Remaster Has Sold Over 1 Million Copies Worldwide

Resident Evil HD Remaster Has Sold Over 1 Million Copies Worldwide

Yesterday, Capcom announced on its blog that Resident Evil HD Remaster has sold over 1 million copies worldwide since launch. The company also added that these sales are due to creating a great product and benefitting heavily from good word of mouth by customers.

Resident Evil HD Remaster is already Capcom’s fastest selling digital title. This title also broke the record for best selling day one digital title on PlayStation Network.

Remasters can often be hits or misses for developers and their fanbase. In the case of Resident Evil HD, though, this obviously was a massive success and hopefully this will inspire Capcom to invest more money into creating games that fans have been asking for.

Did any of you buy Resident Evil HD Remaster earlier this year? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
