Mighty No. 9 Gets a Release Date

Mighty No. 9 Gets a Release Date

Originally planned for release in April (and it’s rather apparent that is not happening now), Mighty No. 9, the successor to the Mega Man series, finally has an official release date. The game will be coming out on September 15 in America and September 18 in Europe. It will be available in both physical and digital format for the PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U, and a digital only version will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360, Pc, Mac, and Linux. The game will also release for the PS Vita and 3DS, but those versions will be released at a later date that has not yet been revealed. The game will be available in English, Japanese, or French voiceover, as well as English, Spanish, French, Itallian, German, Russian, Polish, and Brazilian Portugese subtitles.

The first piece of DLC for the title has also been announced. The “Ray” DLC will add an additional stage to the game that culminates with a fight against Beck’s rival. When completed, Ray will be available to use in the main game complete with unique skills and enemy weapons. The DLC will be bundled with the retail version of the game and will be provided to all Kickstarter backers free of charge.
