Guess what everyone? Dragon Ball Z isn’t dead! It’s coming back, in a brand new series called Dragon Ball Super . The series takes place a few years after the end of the Majin Buu saga, and effectively overwrites Dragon Ball GT . The plot will be written by series creator Akira Toriyama and will feature an emeny more powerful than Buu or Frieza. The original Japanese voice actor for Goku has been confirmed to return. It will begin airing in Japan in July.
Right now there has been no word on whether or not it will be translated for American audiences but I mean, come on. How could anime fans and the anime business at large resist a new Dragon Ball ?
